     Cheryl has been an artist for over 40 years, creating watercolor paintings for the last 10 years, and over the past 30+ years, created collages combining painting, handmade-paper, mixed media, featuring vintage and antique paper ephemera from the 1850s -1950s.

     She is the author of The Art of Handmade Paper & Collage, and her painting, “Grace” is included in Inspirational Quotes Illustrated by Leslie Riley, North Light Books. She appeared in 4 episodes of The Carol Duvall show on the HGTV cable channel, and her artwork has been published in Somerset Studio Magazine, and Daniel Smith's Fine Art Materials Catalog.

     Her artwork has won multiple awards over the years and she has been a member of Park Lane Gallery, Kirkland, WA,; Clear Light Gallery, Blue Tail Gallery, and Fusions Gallery, Ocean Shores, WA and was an Associate Member in the Tim Rossow Gallery.

     Her second love is teaching and over the last 25 years, workshops and classes ranging from a 5-day workshop in Montreal, Canada, a 2-day workshop in Friday Harbor, WA, multiple classes at Bellevue Art & Frame, Bellevue, WA, and locally, Mixed-Media classes at Blue Tail Gallery, and Sip-&-Paint classes at Ocean Beach Roasters in Ocean Shores.

     Largely self-taught she also studied at the Art Institute of Seattle and worked as a Graphic Designer and Art Director at Antioch University Seattle, WA. and Martingale Publishing, Woodinville, WA for 12 years. She has lived and worked in her studio in Ocean Shores, Washington since 1996 with her husband, Ham Radio operator KB7VEC.
