     My husband and I decided to retire to Ocean Shores once our kids were raised and had started their new lives.
     After a period of time I dipped my toes into the world of watercolor painting; this was on my bucket list, and knowing nothing I was able to learn my own technique and style by attending local art classes.
     Through trial and error I have been fortunate enough to win awards at local art shows. I have also done alcohol ink paintings on tile, dabbled in alcohol pours, and my current interest is now centered on bead weaving. I am always interested in learning new things.
